Carferry Cruises
Crossing Lake Michigan? Take a cruise on the S.S. Badger, the largest cross-lake passenger service on the Great Lakes. Enjoy a relaxing four-hour, authentic steamship experience, crossing Lake Michigan between Ludington, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The S.S. Badger has the capacity to carry 600 passengers and 180 automobiles vehicles.
Fishtown in downtown Leland preserves the heritage of the Northern Michigan commercial fishing industry. The Leland riverwalk area features weathered fishing shanties, smokehouses, fishing nets drying on racks and fish tugs. Several of the former shanties are home to gift and clothing boutiques, art galleries and specialty food shops.

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore

A hidden gem no more, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore was named "The Most Beautiful Place in America" by ABC's Good Morning America. Boasting 35 miles along Lake Michigan, dunes that peak over 400 feet, two islands and 21 inland lakes, this national park brings in over a million visitors every year.
