The Leelanau Peninsula Birding Festival is held annually for three days in late-May, and is hosted by the Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.
A variety of festival field trips are offered including Birding aboard Tall Ship Inland Seas, Arcadia Dunes Grassland and Arcadia Marsh, Otter Creek, Lighthouse West and Leelanau State Park, Good Harbor Bay, Charter Sanctuary, Veronica Valley and Pyramid Point.
